We have stayed at the Carrier Houses Bed & Breakfast several times. Each time has been a wonderful experience. The hosts have thought of everything and the breakfast is incredible. The location is great as a base for day trips to many popular mountain locations. Looking forward to our next stay!
An absolute must stay - an hour away from Asheville! Jim and Russell were the perfect hosts and owners. I will definitely recommend anybody who visits NC, to not miss this BnB.
5 star B&B! Best part is the breakfast that Jim and Russell serve! Honestly cannot even put into words how delicious the breakfast was! House was beautiful! Loved the nice touches for the towels with the custom ribbons! Truly wonderful and kind hosts who you can tell love the area and what they do. Would definitely recommend and will book again if ever in the area!
The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean and cozy. The house is perfectly located near a fun, walkable downtown area. I don’t normally write reviews online but these hosts earned it.
I stopped here for a night to break up a road trip and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip! The cutest B&B ever in the cutest tiny town. Felt like I was in a Hallmark movie. The inn keepers were so nice and the breakfast delicious. And it’s wonderful they have a dog-friendly room! Highly recommend! Also recommend checking out the cute shops and getting a delicious sandwich from the Main Street Market.
This was our first experience staying at a bed and breakfast and was nothing short of outstanding. My wife and I were in town for a wedding and decided to stay at the Carrier House. Jim and Russell were very accommodating during our stay, meeting all our needs. The house was beautifully decorated for the Fall season, as my wife kept saying “it feels like I’m in a hallmark movie.” We stayed in the Washburn Room which was well furnished with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was delicious as they accommodated for my wife’s gluten free diet as well. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway!
This bed and breakfast is amazing! The rooms are decorated so wonderfully and unique. Jim and Russell are the best hostesses ever! My husband and I loved the atmosphere and the beauty of the places inside and out! Magnificent breakfast and we can’t wait to return!
I can't say enough about this B&B. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The houses were beautifully decorated for Christmas. The beds were extremely comfortable and the food was amazing. We will absolutely visit there again.
